MIT infrastructure suite
Ethica is a self-owned family of seven Rust infrastructure components — memory, networking, storage, proxy, database, web, and the umbrella stack. Each one its own repo and container image. No vendor, no lock-in.
The suite
Proactive memory compression & process hibernation — zram + KSM, no disk I/O.
02 networkingSecure private overlay networking. WireGuard-class crypto — X25519 + ChaCha20-Poly1305.
03 storageDistributed FUSE filesystem. Share & replicate across servers — leader, follower, client.
04 edgeReverse proxy & load balancer with a built-in monitoring dashboard.
05 databaseDatabase scaling & replication proxy — binlog-aware, with a control CLI.
06 webWeb / application server with a bundled support library.
07 platformThe umbrella: containers, VMs, agents, routing, clustering — one stack.
Why Ethica
Ethica is an independent, MIT-licensed rebrand of the Wolf Software Systems infrastructure releases — taken at the last point they were offered under MIT, kept under MIT, and stripped of vendor branding. Every repository retains the original copyright notice; nothing here depends on a third-party service to run.
The result is a coherent stack you can read, fork, self-host, and trust — from a memory-compression daemon to a full container/VM platform.
